PAR 13081 Spasciani TM 1702 PAPR Respirator with TR 2002
TM 1702 are Power Assisted Protective Respirators devices providing the operator with air purified by means of a turbo fan and two particle or combined filters. The use of these respirators is recommended in the open air or inside but only in ventilated environments. They are suitable for tasks such as asbestos removal, work in dusty environments or in crop spraying. They are not suitable for fire fighting, rescue interventions or use underwater.
TM 1702 can be used in combination with two 100 P3 or 203 A2B2P3 filters (to be ordered separately) mounted directly on the turbo fan screw connector and choosing among a wide range of TR 2002 type face pieces (see model for tables in Technical data and refer to the specific data sheet).
TM 1702 can supply the purified air to the face piece with two air flows depending on the filter connected.
The fan unit powered by an electric micro-motor is contained in a plastic and shock proof housing. The housing is equipped with two connectors for the filters, a fitting for the corrugated hose type TUR TM 2090 and two loops for connecting the carrying waist belt.
The unit is equipped with an acoustic alarm signal that is turned on when the flow drops below 120 l/min. On the upper part there is an on/off button that must be held down for a few seconds to avoid accidental use and four LED lights indicating: Low battery alarm, fault alarm which indicates flow below 120 l/min, flow set to 130 l/min for filters A2B2 P3 and flow set at 170 l/min for filters P3
The turbo fan comes with battery pack that may be externally charged by means of a coaxial jack and with carrying belt and soft pad for a comfortable wearing.
The TM 1702 is designed to protect the operator with a very high comfort rate, this is achieved by supplying the mask with the ideal flow rate to reduce the breathing effort to a minimum without noxious flow on the face, by the ergonomic waist belt provided with soft pad and by the very low weight compared to the autonomy offered.
The battery pack is electrically protected from extreme temperature increasing during the charging procedure and provided with supply block at 11.2 volt to avoid that a big decreasing of the voltage may compromise the life of the battery itself.
For the correct use of the turbo fan the purchasing of the relevant battery charger is necessary. The battery charger is not a component of the Respiratory Protection Device but it is essential for the correct working of the turbo fan.
